ABOUT THE FOUNDER, SAMANTHA



I founded LBB as a lifelong learner, Christian, wife and mom of 3. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and I’m self taught in different forms of fitness and nutrition. I am certified
as an adapted physical educator. My students brighten my day each day. My interest in herbs and how they can help the human body became a passion in 2019. Three years later, I finally began taking courses in herbalism and learned how to create different types of lotions and
creams. I started mixing dried herbs for teas and selling them to eager customers.

In 2024 we launched the Vitamin C Cream, our flagship skincare product. While I don’t believe
perfect skin exists, nor do I have it, I have received overwhelmingly positive feedback with those that use the Vitamin C Cream daily. LBB has been such a blessing because it has gotten me out of my comfort zone and I can’t wait to continue developing new products.

At Lacy Branch Botanicals, we are are obsessed with natural skincare that helps you nourish your body and glow from within. Founded by me, Samantha Kent, I am born and raised in Louisiana, and love spending my days in nature, whether that be my garden or sitting by a fire on porch by the creek (our namesake, Lacy Branch). I find that everything we need comes from the earth.

As a naturally curious individual and life long learner, I became obsessed with ingredient lists and finding what worked best for my skin. I learned how to make products at home that were just as if not more effective than big name brands. And that is how my journey began with Lacy Branch Botanicals.
